CrowdRec 2015 Call for Participation

We look forward to seeing you at CrowdRec 2015 on Saturday 19 September 2015 (14:00-17:30) at ACM RecSys 2015. We have a great line up of papers, as well as two forward-looking, thought-provoking keynotes:

First, Fabian Abel (XING) will talk about how the active contributions of users can improve recommender systems (in "Carrots for Couch Potatoes: Improving Recommendations by Motivating the Crowd").

Then, Martin Kracheel (University of Luxembourg) will turn the tables and talk about a project that illustrates the potential of recommender systems to improve the lives of users (in "Changing Mobility Behavior through Recommendations").

CrowdRec 2015 Program

The program for the CrowdRec 2015 Workshop is now available.

The workshop is scheduled for 19 September 2015 (14:00-17:30) at ACM RecSys 2015, which is held at Vienna University of Technology (TU Vienna) in Vienna, Austria.

CrowdRec 2015 Call for Papers

The Call for Papers for the CrowdRec 2015 Workshop is now online. We are soliciting submissions of long and short papers, as well as position presentations.

Note that attendance at the workshop requires registration for the ACM RecSys 2015 conference as a whole. This year there is no separate registration for workshops. Each accepted workshop paper must register at least one author at the conference.

CrowdRec 2015 Accepted

We are pleased to announce that the proposal for a Third CrowdRec Workshop has been accepted. CrowdRec 2015 will be held during the 9th ACM Conference on Recommender Systems in Vienna, Austria, 16th-20th September 2015
